Baguio travelers have two main door-to-door choices: Grab (the dominant rideshare app) and the city's long-established white metered taxis. Grab is downloaded and used exactly as in Manila, pin your pickup, track the driver, and pay cash or card, while local taxis are hailed curbside or found at hotel stands, the bus terminal, and Session Road ranks. Both operate throughout the day. But Grab can thin out after 10 p.m. when only taxis remain on the road. Choose Grab when you want air-conditioned comfort,clarity on the route, and electronic receipts, good for airport runs or late-night trips from the city center. Opt for a regular taxi when you're already on the street, need a short hop inside the downtown grid, or when Grab wait times spike during weekend market crowds.
