Baguio's own Loakan Airport carries very little scheduled traffic, so most visitors do not fly here at all. The usual route is to land at Clark or Manila and continue north by long-distance bus, a journey many travellers make overnight.

Common Scams to Avoid
Taxi drivers at Loakan Airport sometimes insist the meter is "broken" and quote a flat fare to Session Road that is double the normal rate. Insist on using the meter or agree on a fare before boarding, and note that ride-hailing apps display the expected range.
Unofficial porters inside the small arrival hall may grab bags without asking and then demand an inflated fee. Politely decline any unsolicited help and only use the official porters wearing airport ID badges.
A few unlicensed vans parked just outside the terminal advertise "shared shuttle to town for 100 pesos" but wait until the vehicle is full, often taking over an hour, and then try to collect an extra "terminal fee"; use only the accredited transport desk inside the terminal or pre-book through your hotel.
